Tell us about your books! What do you love to write about? 

My most recent novel, Someday Isn't Far Off, is a contemporary cowboy romance set in mid-western USA. There are two more novels in the series I'm really excited to share later this year.

I write Sweet with Heat Romance. That's hotter than a squeaky-clean Hallmark, but without explicit details. I like to focus more on the emotional journey of the characters rather than the physical logistics of sexy time. 

I love a strong female character, physical or emotional strength, women who have a voice, and men who adore that voice. I also really enjoy writing characters who realize they've been wrong about love and now go after the life they never knew they always wanted.

 
What inspired you to get started as an author?

Since I was a little kid, I've always had a story playing out in my head. It was my daughter who suggested I write those stories down. Everyone should have such a daughter.

What are your favorite books to read? 

Romance is my favorite! Contemporary, rom-coms, historical, fantasy… anything as long as someone is falling in love.
